Come out to the Guaracini Performing Arts Center at Cumberland County College on Wednesday, October 12th at 7 PM for a FREE concert by the Brooklyn-based Brown Rice Family.  This high-energy, eight-member ensemble represents the musical influences of Japan, Jamaica, Haiti, Nigeria, South Africa, and the United States. The combination of Reggae, Hip-hop, Dance-hall, Brazilian, Afro-beat, Jazz styling, Latin, and Funk results in a unique, colorful, rhythm-driven sound that will make you want to dance. The music is truly World Roots oriented. The band firmly believes in self and environmental improvement, and is perpetually seeking out healthier ways of living, grooving, and eating, while spreading the message of organic love through music.  For tickets, call the Guaracini PAC box office at (856) 692-8499 or visit www.cumberlandarts.com.
